Replace your lawn with artificial grass

Clear the grass from the ground.

Spray the area with herbicide to make sure all plants die and prevent regrowth.

Create a wooden frame around your installation. This will help keep the grass safe while using the fixed nails, which is the final step.

The earth is pressed down until it hardens to provide a firm platform for the turf.

Add limestone fragments. Make sure it's compacted, just like on the soil.

Adding about 15 millimeters of sand or granite dust to the soil requires about 25 kilograms of sand per 1 square meter. This area needs to be firm but permeable.

Lay your weed film over the top of the sand and secure it around with anchor nails.

Line your turf into a corner around your perimeter and lay rollers flat on the surface to see how much you need to cut.

Trim the edges of your grass and don't need to be there.

Use galvanized anchors to secure the joint. These fixing pins should be aligned with the wooden frame to hold them in place.

It is also important to install weed film when installing artificial grass onto soil. This will prevent any weeds from getting through your artificial lawn.

Weed film is optional for all other types of installations. However, when installing artificial grass on hard surfaces, we recommend using artificial grass as weeds tend to grow in the most unlikely places.
