As a general rule, artificial grass sites should be thoroughly inspected and minor surface repairs made in early spring each year. It is a good idea to keep the site under control and nip hidden problems in the bud in the spring. During the spring inspection focus on checking for loose seams, cracks at the base of the artificial grass, burns on the surface of the artificial grass and so on. Make a note of each area that needs to be repaired as you go along, and make sure you do so in warm, dry weather.

In the event of a loose seam, first clean the area to be repaired and then scrape and repair it according to the grass laying process, digging out the broken artificial grass and filling it with new grass where the grass yarns are badly damaged. In the case of cigarette burns on the surface of the artificial grass, the top hardened spots of grass yarns caused by the burns can be brushed away with a metal brush with force, the spots are removed and the damaged areas are levelled with rubber granules. If there are bumps on the site, rubber granules should be sprinkled over the thin infill and then swept into the grass yarns with a brush or broom.

These are a few ways to repair artificial grass sites. Do a good job of maintaining the artificial grass in order to protect the service life of the site.
