For sports grounds, artificial turf construction is one of the most important aspects of quality assurance and it is recommended that it is carried out by a professional contractor. However, in more casual settings such as nurseries, patios and balconies, artificial turf is relatively simple to construct and can be laid by a friend or two.

Most artificial turf is sold in 4 metre widths and in full metres. Regardless of the type of site, reasonable design is required in advance to reduce the waste of artificial turf. A small amount of artificial turf can be transported by courier, but if there are many metres, it is usually more affordable to go through logistics.
Artificial Grass Construction Environment:
Temperature above 5°C, try to choose dry and sunny weather, not in the rainy days and rainy period construction, wet environment will affect the effect of glue use.
Artificial Grass Construction Foundation:
Cement and asphalt ground foundation is preferable, tight clay can also be used for laying artificial turf, but it must be flat and dry, no bump or breakage, clear of debris. Outdoor sites are best provided with some drainage diversion measures.
Artificial Grass Construction Entry:
Artificial turf is generally transported in rolls from the factory and will inevitably be stretched and squeezed, so artificial turf entry needs to be opened and dried for a day or so to allow it to stretch naturally and flatten out, paying attention to the direction of the grass filaments to keep them consistent.
Artificial Grass Construction And Laying:
Place the artificial turf according to the previously produced design, taking care that there are no gaps in the joints or that they overlap slightly, using a knife to cut through the middle to ensure the joints are tight. Roll up the jointed lawn to either side, with the seams arranged in the middle below, and apply glue to the back of the lawn and to the seam fabric in appropriate amounts. When the glue has dried to the point where it does not stick to your hands, press the artificial turf and seam fabric together, taking care not to leave gaps between the turf, and then step on it with your foot.
After the artificial turf has been constructed, inspect and clean up the site and repair any problems found.
