Artificial turf bulge is a common problem encountered by owners. There are many reasons for bulging, mainly including improper transportation, unbalanced hoisting, poor winding technology, and improper construction methods.
It is also worth noting that if the site temperature is too low, the artificial turf will be stored for too long after production, which will also cause a certain degree of deformation.
How to deal with the bulge folds of artificial turf?
1. When the ambient temperature is above 25°C, open the straw roll to dry, and after the straw blanket becomes soft, flatten the bulge evenly along the unfolding direction (repeat the operation several times until the bulge disappears).
2. When the temperature is below zero, treat the slight bulge, roll up the opened artificial turf, roll it for a distance of about 50m, and open it again for verification. If it is not completely eliminated, you can roll it up several times and roll it open until the bulge is completely eliminated; if If the problem is still not eliminated, use a small amount of 80℃ hot water to spray, cover with a cotton quilt, and step on it repeatedly until the bulge is eliminated.
3. For the small bulge at the beginning and the end, use glue to fix the edge of the fungus and squeeze out the bulge.
Wrinkles are the most common problem on artificial turf. Similar to bulges, wrinkles will also change the flatness of the carpet surface and affect normal construction and use.
The main factors causing the wrinkles of the artificial turf are: reversal, scratching during transportation, loading and unloading, displacement caused by incomplete curing of the splicing glue and rewinding. The edge of the fungus is mainly due to the force on the edge of the base cloth after the nail is rewinded. After a period of storage, the edges of regular fungus are formed.
For the artificial turf folds, we can also solve it in three steps:
1. The artificial turf is neatly placed in place according to the pre-designed paving direction and unfolded in sequence. It should be noted that the inclination of the artificial turf grass must be consistent. The artificial turf should be placed for 24 hours after being deployed on site to ensure that the stress on the turf is completely released.
2. After the artificial turf is unfolded, move the lawn evenly along the unfolding direction to ensure that the lawn will not be folded or slightly bulged due to loose tension during the opening process. When opening, it is forbidden to play half a roll and leave a half roll, so as not to cause other quality problems.
3. It is forbidden to throw, drop, or fall directly, and it is forbidden to roll the artificial turf in the opposite direction. The stacking site is flat and strictly forbidden to press, hang, or tilt.
