According to climate types, lawns can be divided into two categories: cold-season grasses and warm-season grasses. Cold-season grasses are mostly used near and north of the Yangtze River Basin, mainly including tall fescue, ryegrass, bluegrass, white clover, bentgrass, etc.; warm-season grasses are mostly used near and south of the Yangtze River Basin. It is widely distributed in tropical, subtropical and transitional climate zones, mainly including bermudagrass, bahia grass, Zoysia japonica, Eragrostis and so on.
